# External content with consent

The video and map examples do not load an external iframe before your explicit consent. Only the button for the individual item establishes a connection to the provider. The content can then be removed again. Consent applies to that single item and is not stored permanently here.

The examples use public technical demonstration links and a general map area in Berlin, not private customer content. An external provider can change its availability or embedding rules. The Google Maps and Google Docs examples below deliberately show the state without a configured public embed instead of pretending that content exists.

## YouTube video

A public video from the technical YouTube examples. The connection is established only after consent.

Loading YouTube sends your IP address and browser data to the external provider.

## Vimeo video

A public video link from the Vimeo documentation. This does not make a privately shared video public.

Loading Vimeo sends your IP address and browser data to the external provider.

[Open Vimeo externally](https://vimeo.com/76979871)

## OpenStreetMap

A general map area in Berlin, not a customer address. Map tiles are also loaded only after consent.

Loading OpenStreetMap sends your IP address and browser data to the external provider.

[Open OpenStreetMap externally](https://www.openstreetmap.org/export/embed.html?bbox=13.37%2C52.5%2C13.42%2C52.53&layer=mapnik&marker=52.5163%2C13.3777)

## Google Maps without a configured embed

For actual content, copy only the HTTPS address from the embed code provided by Google Maps into the module. No such public embed is configured here; short links and arbitrary iframe addresses are not accepted.

No supported external content configured.

## Google document without a configured embed

A document must be explicitly published to the web. Only its published URL belongs in the module; private editing or sharing URLs are not sufficient. No dummy document has been created.

No supported external content configured.

## X / Twitter as an external link

This is just a normal external link, not an embedded feed. No working Twitter API or live display is claimed.

X / Twitter is available as an external link.
