# Dynamic content selection

All the following blocks refer exclusively to the existing [sample blog](https://dedc.de/en/particles/blog). Its articles remain unchanged. The selection is calculated from sources and taxonomy rules, rather than hard-coded as a list of results.

The English Admin2 entry `Content Blocks` provides sources, nested `ANY`/`ALL` groups, exclusions, sorting, limits and a preview. The same selection can be displayed independently as image cards, a compact list or teasers. Saved presets can be configured in the plugin and reused across multiple blocks; this example does not change any global presets.

## No sources

An explicitly empty source list returns no articles and is not silently expanded to include the entire website.

No source has been selected for this block.

## No matches

This deliberately nonexistent category demonstrates the clear no-results state.

No matching sample articles found.
